The basic idea of the festival is to put sustainable agriculture and food into a cultural context and thus to provide space for informing and experiencing; enjoying and celebrating the heritage of traditional rice in Sri Lanka. lt encourages exchange on our path to reconnect to our food.

Art will play a major part in the location, an historic hotel in the heart of Colombo: there is an  installation, one farmer is singing and reciting poetry, facts will be given about traditional rice, there will be musical performances, there is rice tasting and snacks are available. We create space for exchange. Be part of Agri Culture! Free entrance!
